FAQ
Does every puzzle have exactly one solution?
Yes. Clues are removed one by one, and a removal is only kept if a solver still finds exactly one solution, so every puzzle can be solved by logic without guessing between two answers.
What makes a sudoku harder?
Mostly fewer clues: fewer given numbers means longer chains of reasoning. Our levels are set by the number of clues, so an occasional easy puzzle may feel a little harder or easier than another.
How do I play sudoku?
Fill the grid so every row, every column and every 3×3 box contains the digits 1 to 9 exactly once.
How do I print it the right size?
Open the PDF and print at 100% or "Actual size" rather than "Fit to page", on US Letter or A4 to match the paper size you chose.
Is it really free? Do I need an account?
